If your roughage is in order – meaning that an analysis shows that the sugar, protein and minerals are correct, and your horse is healthy and thriving – then the next step is to ensure that it also meets its needs for vitamins, minerals, salt and essential fatty acids.

How to use our feed calculator
Important: Don't you have a mineral analysis of your roughage?Select “Extra” during dosing. This ensures sufficient microminerals, even when the roughage content is unknown.
Do you have an analysis with approximately these values?
- Copper: 4–5 mg/kg
- Zinc: 20–22 mg/kg
- Manganese: 40–50 mg/kg
- Iron: 100–110 mg/kg
Safely use normal dosage of either Every Day Happy, Peak Performance or Supreme Minerals:
Note: Horses only absorb approximately 10–15% of the iron in roughage. In case of low iron values, we always recommend Extra dosage.
* Special recommendations for Foals/Friesians (6-36 months)
- Feed according to their expected adult weight with the dosage amount light work/fold
** Special recommendations for breeding mares
- Months 1–8: Feed according to workload.
- Month 9–11: As a horse in moderate work.
- After foaling: First 3 months as demanding work, then moderate until weaning.
- If the mare is both pregnant and lactating: Feed as demanding work throughout the period.
