+Energy Fiber Mash contains proteins with a balanced amino acid composition and fermentable/digestible fibers from soy hulls, beet pulp and citrus pulp, as well as mucilage from flaxseed and pectin, which has a cleansing effect on both internal and external toxins/environmental pollutants and also supports the gastrointestinal mucosa.

What is high work intensity?

Horses that perform at a high level are: lactating mares, stallions that are in breeding, foals and fillies that are growing/playing a lot, and top-performing competition horses.

Horses recovering from injuries need controlled amounts of carbohydrates in their balanced feeding plan.

Horses that have difficulty maintaining condition, as well as older horses that have lost muscle mass and are too thin, will be healthier on feed with moderate carbohydrates, many calories from good oil sources, quality proteins and fibers from flaxseed and soybean hulls.

Balanced blood sugar and fluid balance

The calories come primarily from flaxseed and the starch is from corn. The high fat content ensures that the starch does not cause significant fluctuations in blood sugar levels. A good fiber content in the large intestine acts as a fluid depot for the horse, which will thus even out imbalances in fluid intake. A balanced fluid balance in the body is of paramount importance for the horse's performance.

Filled with energy

1 kg +Energy Fiber Mash contains 155 grams of oils, predominantly from flaxseed, and has the optimal balance between Omega 3 and 6. Horses need to be supplied with essential fatty acids, as the body does not produce them itself.

Horses that perform need a larger amount of oils/fatty acids than a normal daily dose prescribes, as they need an energy surplus for work.
The right balance of fatty acids regulates:

• Strengthens the muscles

• Improves stress management, learning, concentration and exercise tolerance

The optimum for performance horses, long-distance, eventing and racehorses is that 60-75% of the energy requirement is covered from direct oil sources such as flaxseed and from fermentation of fiber in the large intestine.

Instructions for use

+Energy Fiber Mash is used together with straw/hay, wrap, grass and a vitamin and mineral supplement.

Daily dosage:
50-600 g per 100 kg horse.
