What do bitters do for your horse?
Bitter substances stimulate the body's natural functions and:
- Supports the liver : Increases bile production, which helps with fat breakdown.
- Improves bowel function : Relieves bloating and irregular bowel movements.
- Optimizes nutrient absorption : Helps older horses in particular to absorb nutrients better.
Why Fernet Branca?
Fernet Branca contains bitter herbs and roots such as:
- Dandelion root : Cleanses the liver.
- Milk Thistle : Protects and regenerates the liver.
- Gentian root : Stimulates digestive enzymes.
How to do it:
- Give the horse ½ dl Fernet Branca mixed in feed over several portions.
- Observe the effect over days or weeks.
